FANTANKA is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking initiative funded by @ATJLF_ that focuses on training two groups of Jalis (Griots/praise singers) to translate the African Union Transitional Justice Policy (#AUTJP) into simplified versions while upholding the rich tapestry of African values.

The Jalis play a vital role in our cultural heritage, serving as custodians of history, tradition, and storytelling. By harnessing their unique skills and artistic expressions, we aim to make the AUTJP more accessible to communities across the region. Through this training, the Jalis will merge the best elements of Mande and Wolof lyrics, creating engaging narratives that resonate with local audiences.
